The first activity held is the Run for a Cause which aims to give support to the survivors of typhoon Yolanda aside from celebrating the 10th year Founding Anniversary of SDCA. More than 600 runners participated in the said event including the faculty, administrators and students.
Dominican students were given a chance to choose and run for each of the category: 10k, 5k, and the 3k run. It also motivated students and staff to give their moral support for the individuals who experienced the wrath of the said typhoon, especially in the most affected areas in Eastern Visayas.
Another physical activity simulated was the Xtreme Exercise wherein Dominicans stretched their body and join in various forms of exercise which was led by B.S. Physical Therapy Students, headed by Prof. Bob Jimenez. Basic aerobics, taebo and Zumba were executed in the said physical activity. This was done in order to promote good health in joints and muscles and whole wellness of students.
