Winning Dance Moves

Student leaders run for Pasig

Central College Student Council (CCSC) officers participated in ABS-CBN fifth annual fund-raising run known as Run for the Pasig River at the Quezon Memorial Circle, Oct. 6.

One Run, One Philippines: Isang Bayan para sa Kalikasan is the major highlight of the 60th anniversary of ABS-CBN in which five running events were conducted in five cities namely Cebu, Davao, Bacolod, Los Angeles and Quezon with simultaneous advocacies and different beneficiaries. 

Together with the CCSC Officers, they ran to help the Pasig River renew its natural scene. The annual Run for the Pasig River in Quezon City aims for the rehabilitation and restoration for cleaner waterways of the said city and Manila.

With this, urging groups and individuals with a total of 79, 000 joined the said event which started at 6AM gunstart in Philcoa, the 3K and 5K run categories, and ends in the Elliptical Road. Different merchandise was also distributed in different booths for the fund raising activity.
